Is your little animal fascinated by wildlife? Then this half-day camp might be just the right size. Spend some quality time outdoors with your child while we sing songs, explore the garden and create creature crafts.

If you child is wild about animals, this is the camp for them. Campers will discover and mimic the lives of wild urban animals by engaging in fun outdoor games. They will dip nets into the shallow Wilket Creek in search of minnows and other small water creatures, and enjoy an up-close look at wild creatures from the Toronto Wildlife Centre.

Bug-loving kids – Grab your nets and join the bug hunt! Campers will build a bug hotel, chase butterflies as they flutter by, and spend lots of time in the garden exploring the mysterious lives of our six-legged friends.

How does a garden become a meal? With our help. Campers will spend their days in the Teaching Garden learning how to grow herbs and vegetables, harvesting fresh ingredients, making food art and creating delicious treats.

Is your pre-teen passionate about making Toronto greener? In this four-day camp, they will explore some of Toronto's most valuable greenspaces, visit the glass houses at Allan Gardens downtown, and bike the Lower Don Trail, all while learning how to become an enviro-leader in their community.

If your child dreams of bees and is mesmerized by monarchs, this is the camp for them. Campers will explore the garden every day in search of pollinating insects, hear about the busy lives of TBG’s honey bees, and build a hummingbird feeder to take home.

Nature Art Camp is such a hit every year that we decided to offer it twice this summer. This is a camp for budding artists and nature lovers! Create sculptures with clay found along Wilket Creek, paint watercolours outdoors in the garden, and learn to draw bugs and animals found around the TBG. Friends and family are invited to a gallery show at the end of the week.
