The Nature Art Camp is such a hit every summer that we offer it twice. Campers will create sculptures with clay found in the ravine, paint with watercolours in the garden, and receive instruction on bug and animal sketching. Friends and family are invited to a gallery show at the end of the week.
July-03-18 at 9:00 AM
Does your child love stories? At this camp, we will explore nature-based stories by popular children's authors including Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, Ronald Dahl, Robert Munsch and Arnold Lobel. Campers will explore the garden, make crafts, play games and create their own stories.
July-09-18 at 9:00 AM
Is your little animal fascinated by wildlife? Then this half-day camp is just the right size. Spend time outdoors with your child singing songs, exploring the garden and creating creature crafts.
July-09-18 at 9:00 AM
If your child is wild about animals, this is the camp for them. They will mimic wild animals in fun outdoor games, dip nets into the shallow Wilket Creek in search of minnows, and enjoy an up-close look at wild creatures from the Toronto Wildlife Centre.
July-16-18 at 9:00 AM
Bug-loving kids – Grab your nets and join the bug hunt! Campers will build a bug hotel, chase butterflies as they flutter by, and spend lots of time in the garden exploring the mysterious lives of our six-legged friends.
July-23-18 at 9:00 AM
How does a garden become a meal? Campers will spend their days in the Teaching Garden learning how to grow herbs and vegetables, harvesting fresh ingredients, making food art and creating delicious treats.
July-30-18 at 9:00 AM
Let your kids discover the incredible superpowers of plants through outdoor games, exploration and hands-on activities. Campers will also design and build models of plants that can survive the desert heat, the arctic cold or toxic swamps, and they will take home a plant with superpowers.
