March-11-19 at 9:00 AM
Scuttle like a beetle, buzz like a bee and jump like a grasshopper in TBG's garden and the adjacent ravine. Together we will explore the secret life of garden bugs, meet the residents of a worm chalet and learn about industrious honeybees.
March-11-19 at 9:00 AM
Discover incredible superpowers of the plant world. Learn about plants that can eat bugs, survive the scorching heat of the desert and the frigid cold of Canadian winters. Campers will also take home a plant.
March-12-19 at 9:00 AM
During this delicious camp, learn about where our food comes from and plant indoor edible plants to take home. For a more yummy experience, we'll also put on our chef hats to make appetizers and desserts! All creations will be nut-free.
March-13-19 at 9:00 AM
Let’s get wild! Learn what types of animals live in our city and follow their tracks to see how they move through urban spaces without being seen. Campers will mimic the survival techniques of local animals through games and play and enjoy a visit from some wild friends.
March-14-19 at 9:00 AM
Get inspired by the natural world around you! Campers will learn to draw animals found around TBG, sketch and paint along the scenic Wilket Creek, and create 3-D art. A great camp for the budding artist!
